What Is PGN?

PGN (Portable Game Notation) is the standard format for recording chess games. It looks like: 1.e4 e5 2.Nf3 Nc6 3.Bb5 a6. The number is the move number. White's move comes first, then Black's. This is the Ruy Lopez!
