🏰 Knight Outposts

An outpost is a square that can't be attacked by enemy pawns, ideally supported by one of your own pawns. A Knight on an outpost is a monster — it can't be chased away and controls key squares! The best outposts are on the 4th, 5th, or 6th rank.
